About Clayton Clavette

Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, relocated to Miami, FL. in August of 1995. While keeping Miami as his base, he lived for months at a time in Manhattan, Spain, Aspen and Hawaii. He began his sales life while still a toddler; actually selling his baby shoes once he decided he had grown out of them. Once in grade school he used his first stereo to begin a DJ business and then later started a paintball league amongst his friends. In Clayton Clavette’s first years of college he dabbled with "college" jobs, promoting night clubs, working in retail stores and working behind a bar. In his Junior and Senior Years he started working full time in the corporate offices of Sprint PCS and later Qualcomm where he managed and trained large sales forces specializing in guerrilla marketing.

Upon graduation he made his first real attempts at his own business but found more lessons than dollars.

He had been pursued by two real estate firms to begin work as a commercial broker at the time of his first business collapse and began learning the art of office leasing, warehouse leasing and land sales at the Trammell Crow Company. He worked first in Ft. Lauderdale and then in the Miami market. As a junior broker he was dealt most of the difficult deals that the senior brokers did not have interest in and he quickly found himself being an expert in land development, subdivision, and rezoning. He used his expertise to start his own firm and began buying properties in Coral Gables, FL. and renovating them and then renting them. He also purchased a commercial property on the Miami River in a neighborhood that turned into a hotspot within months of his purchase. Between Clavette’s networking and business ventures he began a Luxury Rental business in Miami, FL. While receiving calls from clients like Michael Jordan, Billy Joel, and Kevin Garnett, Shaquille O’Neal, just to name a few, he was getting frustrated because the nature of his business would not easily permit expansion out of Miami and Clavette was getting frustrated playing middle man. "I was not doing anything brilliant, I was simply putting together people who wanted mansions and services with those who had them and making huge commissions while doing it. But then when I would travel, I would go out of my way to go direct and find the homeowners and avoid people in the same line of business I was in. No one likes paying extra, not even Michael Jordan. So, I redesigned the business to eliminate myself, the middleman. The response has been huge!"

Clayton Clavette’s Hobbies entail a long list of extreme sports. He is an avid skydiver, hobbyist skeet shooter, improving surfer, experienced rock climber, advanced skier (water and snow) and is training heavily for two half IronMan triathlon. His desire to take risks spans in all areas of his life. "My risks are calculated risks. Most people think of skydiving as dangerous but driving to the drop zone stands a much higher probability of being killed than actually jumping out of a plane. I use two parachutes incase one doesn’t open!"
